East Lake is unincorporated, tucked into the northeast corner of Pinellas above Palm Harbor and east of Tarpon Springs. Then there is the part almost no quote mentions. Relative humidity here sits near 88 percent at seven in the morning and falls to roughly 57 percent by late afternoon, while manufacturers cap application at about 85 percent RH. So the constraint that actually moves our schedule is the morning — not the afternoon thunderstorm everyone braces for. Coat into air that is too wet and epoxy can throw an amine blush, a greasy film across the surface that will not let the next coat stick. That is manufacturer guidance rather than code, and it is why we occasionally stand in a driveway for an hour doing nothing that looks like work.
